Here on New England’s south coast we are blessed to still have significant tidal marshes. I have long loved them, although any explanation for that I may give does not really account for the fierceness of my attachment.

These beloved marshes are in grave threat from rising and warming seas, contamination, and development. The Marsh Project is my ongoing exploration of my relationship to marshes through sound, writing, and image.
